The Muth family has made Cold Springs their home since 2011. They have enjoyed the memories they have made in their wonderful home but that are on to new adventures in Utah this summer. Here are some of the things they will most the most about their home, and their neighborhood. 1. This home has an AMAZING Fall harvest with raised garden beds, white peaches, several types of grapes, pears, apples, blackberries and raspberries that take very little effort and upkeep. 2. The home is no more than 20-30 minutes to everything Reno and Sparks has to offer but the sky is exploding with stars and gorgeous sunsets. 3. Entertaining has been amazing for them in this home. They once threw a big circus birthday party with over 120 people! The yard has plenty of room for a bounce house or the biggest water slide they have and the front can host the video game truck while the adults hang out inside! 4. They built the kitchen with a big family and entertaining in mind. The cabinets have pullouts and soft close doors. The snack and Tupperware drawers have been convenient. Add that to the large walk-in pantry and storage has never been an issue. 5. They have 3 generations living in the home. They never feel like they are on top of each other with big rooms plus, no one is ever fighting for a bathroom. 6. Living a few houses down from a firehouse and having multiple law enforcement living in our small HOA has always kept the neighborhood quiet and safe. 7. They live thirty minutes to Frenchman's Lake where you can find fishing, swimming, camping and trees! There's so many recreation areas within an hour it's great for family adventures! 8. It's a small community. There are fun events at the family center. Most of the teachers live in the neighborhood and hold special bonds with the kids that you don't see elsewhere. 9. Not only do you get a big house, but the yard is amazing. The kids spent many summers swimming, eating lunch on the deck, playing on the trampoline or on the play-set. 10. The Air Races happen in the backyard! You get to see and experience almost all of the flights from the show. You also see exciting military planes through the year, hot air balloons practicing, para-gliders and when the lake bed is dry they do wind car racing that you can watch. The Muth family will always cherish the memories in the home they made, but are excited to pass the torch onto the next family that will love the home as much as they did The journey Lacie and her four sons took to find "home" at 3047 Bandera Ave included a road filled with many bumps, hurdles and struggles. Lacie and her sons, Trustin, Mayson, Brycen and Kayden, moved in to this home in 2011, along with Lacie's best friend, Sabrina. Together, they spent the next five years rebuilding a new life together, growing as a family and eventually, even thriving. In 2016, after many years of hard work and pinching pennies, and as a single mother to four, Lacie was able to purchase the very home they had rented for the last few years. It was the perfect stepping stone to the next chapter of their journey. When Lacie found out she was approved to purchase a home, it only made sense to purchase the one that they had built their lives in already. They simply couldn't imagine life anywhere else but at their home on Bandera Ave. For the boys, this home was the perfect place for growing up - Trustin, Mayson, Brycen and Kayden grew from little boys and toddlers into young men (with one headed to college next year!). All four of the boys absolutely loved being within walking distance to Van Gorder Elementary School and Jacinto Park. They spent many afternoons playing at the park before heading home for the evening. Oftentimes, they spent the evenings riding bikes in the quiet neighborhood, going for walks and enjoying the many walking trails, or just relaxing in the backyard together, taking in some fresh air and enjoying the gorgeous view of the stars. This home also provided the perfect place for Lacie to grow in to her role as a single mother. She even learned how to make her first lasagna in the spacious kitchen. Her and Sabrina shared many cups of coffee or hot tea in the kitchen, figuring out the road that was ahead of them over the years. This family quickly adopted the "Cougar Spirit" living in Spanish Springs. The boys all have enjoyed growing up in "Cougar Nation" and have strong ties to the football, wrestling and marching band communities at Spanish Springs High School. It is with great pride that the boys developed a strong academic and athletic foundations attending the Spanish Springs schools and playing sports in the area. As a mom, Lacie was always confident that her children were attending great schools in a safe neighborhood. There are several kids on the street to play with, and always a friendly neighbor if you ever need to borrow a cup of sugar. As a family with kids, this home was situated perfectly for everything they needed - it was the perfect blend of convenience without all of the hustle and bustle of being closer to the center of town. They loved having options - from two grocery stores close by to a handful of dining options, even the occasional treat at the ice cream shop or pizza place - they never really had to go far. One of their favorite things to do was to head over to Fiesta Mexicana for breakfast on the weekends (the chilaquiles con huevos is fantastic!). They also enjoyed being close to the Red Hawk Golf Course - dinner at David's Grill never disappoints! Red Hawk even has music and movie events at Red Hawk during the summer months. After calling 3047 Bandera HOME for the last eight years, this family is ready to spread their wings and fly the coop, as they move on to a new home that better suits their growing needs. Lacie hopes that a new family will fall in love with the home that she put so much of her heart into, and that maybe even a new set of kids will find happiness growing up in such a great area. |
